This Travel Cosmetic Bag by Lily & Drew is a really nice all around travel toiletry bag. The bag itself is extremely roomy and can fit a ton of stuff with 8 different pockets you can find room for just about anything you would need to bring on a trip.
The Travel Cosmetic Bag by Lily & Drew also comes 5 different color combinations so there is bound to be something for everyone. It's made from water resistant fabric on the exterior and the inside has more of a plastic material that makes it really easy to keep it clean and it has wide elastic straps to help hold everything in place.
For me this is more of the kind of bag that I like to use to hold all my toiletries. I wasn't sure what to expect from this 10 Piece Makeup Brush Set by Beauty Lally but I am happy to report I am really impressed so far!
First of all, I LOVE that they come in a nice, quality case. It makes it super easy for travel and I will definitely be bringing these with me on my trip to Santa Barbara in September.
The brushes themselves are also really nice. They are made with quality synthetic hair that is super soft and feels nice against the skin. They do a great job at picking up product and easily blending it out. The best part is I haven't had any issues with hair falling out or breaking off, which is a major pet peeve of mine when it comes to brushes. I will also say that I have paid a lot more for other brushes that I have that are not near as good of quality as these are!
The 10 Piece Makeup Brush Set includes every type of brush you need to create a flawless face and even a few extras! I would highly recommend this brush set for anyone in the market for a new set. It's really an affordable, nice quality brush set that includes a nice travel case and a nice compact mirror. Plus, you have two color choices. Traditional Black or Brown Wood.

I have been dying to try anything and everything by the up an coming brand Make Beauty so I was beyond excited when they sent me these adorable samples of their Silk Cream Lipstick in Taffy and their Matte Finish Eyeshadow in Alabaster!
I love everything about this brand. From the cool packaging to the fact that their products are paraben free and never tested on animals. Plus, the products themselves seem to be exceptional as well!
The Silk Cream Lipstick in Taffy is the perfect "your lip color but better" pinky-nude. It's creamy, highly pigmented and looks and feels amazing. A totally wearable formula and color that I think would look good on anyone and every skin color. It's very moisturizing thanks to the Rosehip, Soybean and Safflower oils along with Aloe and Chamomile extracts for even more conditioning. Easily a new favorite lipstick that has inspired me to buy the full size when I finish my mini!
The Matte Finish Eyeshadow in Alabaster is also a lovely product. It's the perfect "all-over-the-lid" color that is a velvety matte powder that is not only very creamy but also very pigmented. It's also a blendable, crease-resistant and oil-free formula which will stay looking freshly applied for hours!

I have always been at odds with my Eyebrows. They are naturally too thin and don't have much of a shape so I am constantly trying to figure out what to do with them. I am also far from an expert when it comes to "doing" my Eyebrows and truthfully it usually consists of just filling in the sparse areas and brushing them out. I am always in awe of people that have perfectly sculpted brows. I feel like I am pretty good at applying my own makeup and I know all about contouring and highlighting but when it comes to my brows I feel like an epic failure. I'm sure most of you have heard about the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes by Younique, unless of course you have been living under a rock! Heck, I feel like I may be the last person to try them out! However, I'm sure that there has got to be someone else out there who hasn't tried them yet so if you are out there this review is for you!
What are Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes? Basically it's a mascara type product that uses fibers to increase lash volume by up to 400%. Yes, 400%! However, it's also formulated to enhance and nourish existing lashes so there's that too so that's just a bonus.
My verdict on the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes by Younique? This is an amazing product! I was a bit skeptical but it really does give you amazingly long and full lashes that last all day. Crazy cool! However, practice makes perfect! Even though I found this product really easy to use it does take practice. I found that you really need to follow the directions and using a generous amount of the Transplanting Gel is the answer. The first couple of times I tried the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes by Younique I had the tiny little fibers falling off my lashes all day which was a bit annoying. However, apparently this is a common problem that is easily fixed by using a more generous amount of the Transplanting Gel. It's also imperative that you apply the Fibers immediately after applying the Transplanting Gel while it's still wet and reapplying the Transplanting Gel after you apply the Fibers to seal them. The Transplanting Gel is what holds onto the Fibers and seals them in so it's the key step in the application process.
It does take me a few extra minutes to apply the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes by Younique and since I am in a rush most morning I tend save the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes by Younique look for when I am going out or for other special occasions. However, since it is easy to apply and remove, if you have extra time to spare in the morning and want to rock gorgeous, long and lush lashes I say go for it!
Super cool product! With Christmas just around the corner I think this would make the prefect gift! Especially, if you have someone in your life that share's your love of long and lush lashes.

If you haven't jumped on the Makeup Blending Sponge bandwagon then you should do it now! I'm really not sure how I ever lived without one.
A good blending sponge will blend makeup to a flawless finish. One thing is for sure not all blending sponges are created equal. Most of you have probably heard of and quite possible even own the coveted and most popular Beauty Blender sponge. At $20.00 the Beauty Blender is by far the most expensive blending sponge on the market but it works amazingly well and it's hard to find a less expensive version than can deliver the same results. I have actually tested out several "beauty blender" dupes and I have actually been pretty impressed with a couple of them and I shared the ones that I liked here on the blog and I'm happy to report that I get to add another one too that list!
The Neon Green Makeup Blender Sponge by JGOB is a really good dupe for the original Beauty Blender but at only $11.97 it's almost half price. Actually, this Neon Green Makeup Blender Sponge is a tad more soft than the original which I happen to like. It really allows you to get into those hard to reach areas while creating that flawless finish we have come to expect.
